The gîte la Bergerie offers all the modern comforts for a large family or friends on holiday. Like the kitchen in 2015, the bathroom has just been renovated. Outside, the sunny south facing private terrace of 60m2 has garden views and is equipped with garden furniture and sun loungers.

The living-room
The living-room is part of the old sheep barn, and is equipped for up to 5 people :
- Large leather corner sofa, 6 seats
- Large LCD TV
- Satellite receiver and DVD player
- Desk space for laptops or tablets
- Free WIFI
- Pellet stove with automatic temperature control, ideal for those cool evenings during a spring break
- A large solid oak table with 6 Scandinavian storm blue chairs, inspired by the famous Tulip chair created by the Finnish designer Enro Saarinen
- A baby chair if required
The kitchen
The kitchen was redecorated in early 2015 : the use of gray and buttercup yellow combined with high gloss surfaces is aestheticly pleasing whilst also being practical.
France is the country of gastronomy with good wine and good restaurants : we will be happy to advise you on the local restaurants which cover a wide range of tastes. However, should you wish to try out typical French recipies for yourself, the gîte Bergerie is fully equipped :
- High capacity fridge / freezer
- Microwave and electric oven
- Quiet dishwasher
- Induction hob with hood
- Coffee maker, toaster and teapot
- Tassimo Coffee maker (new in 2018)
The kitchen retains traces of its origins including chicken nest boxes now used as decorative features
The Mezzanine Bedroom
The mezzanine houses the main bedroom .
It is equipped with a 160cm (queen size memory foam) bed, a cabinet, a shelving unit and some decorative trunks where you will find your blankets.
A hay rack brings a real touch of authenticity: beyond its role as a railing, it reminds you of the old function of the sheep barn.
The bed will be made up on arrival : with fitted sheet, duvet cover, bolster and 1 pillow per person.
The Second Bedroom Sleeps 4
This room is located on the ground floor, it is arranged in 2 sleeping areas with 4 beds:
- 2 bunk beds in 90 × 200
- 2 single beds in 90 × 200, which can also be combined into a king size bed of 180 × 200. All mattresses are of quality brands

Beds are made on arrival : with sheets, duvet and 2 pillows per person.
Nota Bene : our gite is classified with 2 stars : though we actually have 6 sleeps, it imposes a max of 5 sleeping persons. However babies, tots and toddlers can be accepted as the 6th sleep.
What is memory foam ?
Memory foam adapts to the shape of the body of the sleeper providing maximum comfort and reducing movement throughout the night. These characteristics ensure a good night’s sleep, leaving you refreshed and relaxed allowing you to get the most from your holiday.
The Bathroom
The bathroom was renovated at the end of 2016 : the old bath being replaced with a modern shower decorated with blue mosaics.
The room is equipped with a washing machine, a large cupboard behind the mirror, and solid teak furniture with a lava stone basin.
There are also a hair dryer, iron and ironing board
